How great it feels to have had a day off.
This past weekend we had the pleasure to make a cake for our returning client Cely. She called to have a cake made for her husband Trevor. He loves Star Trek and she wanted us to make the U.S.S Reliant. I am not a Star Trek fan at all so we had to do some research and found some pictures. Cely also sent us some great pictures so we took all this and came out with this cake! This is our first ship and I am very proud of it.
This cake was a surprise for Trevor and his 10 friends. We delivered to Outback Steakhouse and when we walked in with this cake all the girls that worked there were amazed that it was a cake. And that it had lights in it. We did light it up in 3 different places.
Needless to say we gave out a bunch of business cards!
We had fun making this cake because we really enjoy making cakes for Cely and Trevor. They are an awesome couple and always pick designs that are outside the box.

you should've seen him, vikki. he even "flew" the cake and made special effects like a little kid. the guys got a kick out of digging out the led lights and taking them apart to put them back together. thats what electronic technicians do. :/
by far the coolest birthday cake trevor has had! :D can't wait for the cars cakes next month!
I am so glad that Trevor liked the cake. Boys are so funny. I wish I had video of him flying the cake around. That is funny. I am glad I could be a part of another event of yours. We are excited about the the cars cake next month.
